Boomerang – The boys circa 1992

A player who’s about to be played…but good GOD ALMIGHTY he’s got style. Boomerang is a classic story of love, friendship and power dressing. Although the girls are up on their accessories game, the boys are coming back strong with an explosion of demi role necks and graphic knitwear fully in toe.

Here Eddy sports a strong look, in a red wool blazer with black leather trim, and black demi roll neck peeping through. This colour combo is a 90s classic and provides the instant power-glam factor. Rarely seen on men I for one think Eddy pulls this palette off flawlessly.

The supporting role of “Bony T” played by a very thin and young Chris Rock raises the style stakes. Here Chris sports some fabulous braces that holds up those baggy green and red edged denims around that skinny waist, with what else but of course, a black demi roll neck.

Eddy up’s the tempo on glamour in black and cream, when he goes for dinner at “Lavendar Hill” at the home of Miss Lady Eloise. He is practically raped over dinner but holds it together in what can only be described as a collarless high roll neck shirt. If you know the proper term for this garment please do let me know.

Chris sports a mustard yellow graphic wonder, that simply speaks for itself.

Eddy is seriously mixing it up with a grey demi.

Martin Lawrence, David Alan Grier and Eddy hit the gym in true style. Afro-centric sweatshirt from Martin, while Eddy goes simple in a grey Howard varsity hoodie, David gets brave with some layering and slim fit grey t.

David is the dark horse of this film, sure he cant get the girl but the man knows how to wear a coat. Here he rocks black watch check with either a brown corduroy or suede collar – either way it works.

Martin in a graphic knit beauty that combines autumn hues and primary colours to perfection.

And finally David wins the style contest hands down in my eyes with the bold masculine use of the double collar pop.
