Written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by Tony Scott, True Romance is a CLASSIC.

Played by Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette – Clarance and Alabama are the happy couple who meet in the cinema when she is hired to give him a HAPPY birthday.

After they get it on and she confesses her call girl antics on his roof top, they go to the town hall and get married then get matching tattoos. He then kills her pimp steels his suitcase of coke and they get in the pink car and go to LA where the real fun begins.

A fan of the polka dot, don’t be fooled by Alabama’s air head exterior the girl can handle herself…

…and a rather large gun.

Oh and Samuel L makes a brief appearance looking fly as hell before he is shot by the white rasta pimp.

After Clarence tracks down the pimp and kills him, he comes home tells Alabama and she cry’s tears of joy…

Anyways, after they arrive in LA they hook up with Dick (Michael Rapaport), Clarence’s best friend who helps them shift the drugs. Dick gets some help from his pal Elliott who is personal assistant to big shot producer Lee.

Elliott calls Lee and sets up the meeting.

In the meantime, Alabama goes back to the hotel where she is greeted by the bloke who wants his drugs back.

Undoubtedly the best scene in the film. Alabama is knocked around by the drug guy, even after a beating she manages to plunge a cork screw into her attacker then rub soap in his eyes then finish him off with the cork screw. Before grabbing his gun shooting him and beating him with it.

Its intense.

Elliot is flossing with a girl and a sample of the drugs getting a BJ while speeding in his car, he then gets pulled over by the popo and tries to make the girl hide the drugs. She’s not having it and throws the white stuff all over Elliott after he calls her a whore.

BUSTED!!!!!!!

As a get out of jail free card, Elliott agrees to be a mole for the police and sets up his peoples when they meet to exchange drugs for moolah.

Needless to say there is a happy ending, despite the big mess and three way stick up, practically everyone dies except for Clarence and Alabama.

Then they escape to Mexico have a kid and live happily ever after. Ahhhhhhh.
